Unleashing the power of secondary materials: A strategic research and innovation agenda for effective material recycling from WEEE, ELV and PPW in a circular Europe
We are happy to introduce the second draft version of the SRIA developed under the NewInno_NET project.
During the period of January 27th to February 21st we invite all NEW InnoNet stakeholders and relevant networks to contribute to the Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda that will be delivered to the European Commission in summer 2017.
The overall goal of SRIA is to strengthen European industry in taking the lead for a more material effective future by preserving the material values recovered from waste electric and electronic equipment (WEEE), end of life vehicles (ELV) and plastic packaging waste (PPW). It is aimed to influence the EU policy-making addressing research and innovation of the focus value chains:
- electric & electronics, and
- plastic packaging.
The current draft is based on the previous work performed within the NEW InnoNet project with the input from several different actors from industry, professional organisations and academia.
Your contribution to the agenda is important and we hope that you are interested in being part of formulating the actions to be proposed and thus influencing the agenda delivered to the target group of the EU policymakers.
You can contribute at different levels:
- Evaluate R&I actions
- Suggest other R&I actions
- Provide feedback on suggested actions
- Provide feedback on full text
